canvas, faucet, mirror,video/ 2022 / Dimensions variable
A conceptual work that continues the canvas series, the entire work is composed of three objects: a video work, a canvas-wrapped faucet and a canvas water net, and a mirror.
I tried to start from the topic of "transmitting water from the north to the south" that has been hotly discussed within the tribe recently, and provide a gaze mode for audiences to think about the political relationship under the utilization of water resources. At the same time, I further asked that within the framework of promoting economic development, whether it is Wulai or other disaster-causing floods in various parts of Taiwan, there is always a kind of conflicting suspicion. Is it more man-made or natural disasters? And what can we do? No one is an outsider in the possible impact of "transmitting water from the north to the south".
